Mariah Carey Denied 'Queen Of Christmas' Trademark

Mariah Carey has been denied a trademark on "Queen of Christmas."

According to Stereogum, the United States Patent and Trademark Office has ruled against the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" singer's request following opposition from Elizabeth Chan.

Chan, who dropped an album called Queen of Christmas last year, was originally dubbed the "Queen of Christmas" by the New Yorker in 2018.

Carey was also denied the terms "Princess Christmas" and "QOC" by the patent office.

Marilyn Manson Says Sexual Abuse Allegations Are Hurting His Career

In new legal docs, Marilyn Manson says the sexual abuse allegations made by Evan Rachel Wood and other women are hurting his career. According to TMZ, Manson says that he thinks his career is being affected by what he says is a false portrayal as a rapist, abuser and child pornographer.

Manson said that as a result of the allegations, he is unable to tour and was dropped by his record label and talent agent. He has also been dropped from two TV shows and his book release and art shows have been indefinitely postpone -- with his paintings being devalued.

Meanwhile, Manson says he's getting death threats online, which is making him feel anxious, distraught, depressed, worried, frantic, sleepless and fearful for not only his own physical safety, but also his wife's.

In addition, Manson says the allegations are causing him to be excluded from countless social and business gatherings.

Paramore Changes Cover Of Self-Titled Album

Paramore has changed the cover of their 2013 self-titled albums on streaming channels.

The original artwork shows Hayley Williams, Taylor York, and former bassist Jeremy Davis, who left the group in 2015. He later sued the remaining band members over ownership and authorship of the songs and a portion of the royalties from the self-titled album, as well as a share of the band's touring revenue.

Stereogum reports that the new image shows Williams alone, wearing a jean jacket that reads "Grow Up" on the back.

Britney Spears Insists Her Father Was Trying To Kill Her As Conservator

Britney Spears gave new insight into her conservatorship one year after being freed.

Spears, who was released on November 12th, 2021, wrote Monday (November 14th), that she got her first ATM card on October 19th, 2021 and wasn't previously allowed to hold her use her own credit cards.

She added, "How dare a state or nation of any sort grant any man or woman the right to use my possessions in my name … guess it's not that big of a deal !!!! I mean it felt like my dad was trying to kill me. I've spoken about it several times, have proof and witnesses of what he did."

The "Toxic" singer continued, "I truly believe anyone going through that situation would have never made it … if I was valued and respected, then my father would be locked up in two seconds !!!"

Despite the hostility that she has towards her father, Spears insists that she will "never put up more money to go to court" to see if Jamie Spears gets prosecuted.

Louis Tomlinson Broke His Arm After New York City Show

Louis Tomlinson broke his arm after performing at New York City's Irving Plaza Friday (November 11th) night.

The One Direction alum wrote on social media Saturday (November 12th), "The show last night in New York was incredible. Unfortunately, on the way back, I've managed to fall and break my right arm pretty badly."

He included x-rays of the fracture in his post and added that he was "gutted" to announce that he's rescheduling an in-store signing as result of the injury.

Panic! At The Disco announced Monday (November 14th), they are giving fans around the world the chance to experience the Viva Las Vengeance tour through a virtual concert experience, airing exclusively via the social live media platform Moment on December 7th.

Pink To Embark On Summer Carnival Tour With Brandi Carlile, Pat Beatar and Neil Giraldo

Pink announced Monday that she'll be embarking on the North American leg of her Summer Carnival tour in July.

The singer will be supported by Brandi Carlille, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo.

Things will kick off on July 24th, 2023 in Toronto and wrap on October 9th, 2023 in Phoenix. The 21-city tour also includes stops in New York, Boston, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Houston, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.

Tickets go on sale November 21st.

Jung Kook Will Headline The World Cup Opening Ceremony; Dua Lipa Will Not

Jung Kook is headlining the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on November 20th.

According to a tweet from BTS, the singer will also contribute to the soundtrack for the event.

Dua Lipa recently put to rest the rumor that she'd be performing at the opening ceremony.

She wrote on Instagram Sunday (November 13th), "There is currently a lot of speculation that I will be performing at the opening ceremony of the world cup in Qatar. I will not be performing and nor have I ever been involved in any negotiation to perform.I will be cheering England on from afar and I look forward to visiting Qatar when it has fulfilled all the human rights pledges it made when it won the right to host the World Cup. Publicaton of Aaron Carter's Memoir Has Been Delayed

Ballast Books has postponed the November 15th release of Aaron Carter's autobiography "out of respect for the Carter family."

A rep for both the publisher and the memoir's co-writer told Billboard, "My client has decided to defer the further release of the book at this time. Mr. Carter was not just a celebrity but also a father, a brother, a so and a friend to many still grieving for him."

Carter's rep recently told Page Six that his client wanted nothing to do with the memoir and added that its publication was "against Aaron's wishes."

TMZ reported Sunday (November 13th) that Carter died without a will. According to the outlet, California law dictates that his estate will be left to his only child, Prince. However, rumor has it that the singer was broke when he died last week.

BTS' RM To Release First Solo Album Next Month

RM will be the next member of BTS to release a solo project. He posted details online and shared a photo of a bright blue patch of denim, and revealed the title as Indigo. Look for it to be available on December 2.

A press release noted that various artists will be featured, but names were not mentioned.

Even though this will be RM's first full-length solo album, it's not his first release. He shared solo material in 2015 when he dropped his first mixtape which contained 2 singles.

The announcement of RM's solo album arrives shortly after fellow BTS member Jin released his own solo track titled "The Astronaut." That song is currently #51 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Volbeat's Rob Caggiano recently told Metalshop TV that he left Anthrax because his "role in the band ran its course."

The guitarist said, "I decided to leave Anthrax back then because I kind of felt like… At that point I had been in the band for a long time, and I kind of felt like my role in the band ran its course, so to speak. And I just kind of felt like I was hitting my head up against a glass ceiling a long time. And it just felt like I needed a change."

He added that joining Volbeat "was organic" after producing their album, Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies.

Caggiano told the outlet that the band is "a mixture of all the sounds I like."
