The singer recently told Alternative Press, "Honestly, I'm really sick of watching myself, and I think other people probably are too."

The 30-year-old star of three documentaries about her struggles with addiction added, "I wish I would have waited until I had my s–t figured out more because now it's cemented. Sobriety is what works for me and nothing else."

Lovato's eighth studio album just debuted at the top of the rock charts.

Britney Spears, who ended her 13-year conservatorship in November, addressed the scandalous arrangement in a now-deleted YouTube video.

The 22-minute audio clip featured the singer explaining the abuse she endured by her family.

She says in reposted clips that her parents arranged the arrival of ambulances, a SWAT team and over 200 paparazzi to her home when she was hospitalized in 2008.

She said of the hospitalization, "All I do remember is I had to what I was told. I wasn't along with it because I was scared and fearful. I didn't really do anything…It didn't make sense to me. She added, " I was told I was fat every day, I had to go to the gym … and I never remember feeling so demoralized. And they made me feel like nothing."

Lynne Spears, her mother, responded to the audio recording on Instagram Sunday (Augus 28th), writing: "Britney, your whole life I have tried my best to support your dreams and wishes! And also I have tried my best to help you out of hardships! I have never and will never turn my back on you! Your rejections to the countless times I have flown out and calls make me feel hopeless! I have tried everything. I love you so much, but this talk is for you and me only, eye to eye, in private."

Megan Thee Stallion Joins 'She-Hulk' Cast

Megan Thee Stallion is just getting started on her Hollywood adventure. New York magazine seemed to confirm rumors that she has been cast in Marvel's superhero lawyer sitcom She-Hulk. Her role is unknown at this time.

In the past, she has talked about how her mother inspired her to go after what she wants. And for Stallion, this is a dream come true.

To further her acting career, it was previously announced that she would appear alongside Nathan Lane and Bowen Yang in the musical, F**king Identical Twins.

The Weeknd's Tour Rakes In $30M After Just 4 Shows

The Weeknd is set to have one of the biggest grossing stadium tours in recent memory, and he's just getting started.

According to the official numbers from Touring Data… After only 4 shows, the tour raked in $30 million in revenue. During that span of time, The Weeknd sold 190,000 tickets and the venues were completely sold out.

The After Hours Til Dawn tour kicked off on July 14 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and has ventured into some of the biggest football fields in the country, including Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Despite the financial success of the tour, there's been some bad luck. Doja Cat had to cancel shows due to throat surgery. A merchandise trailer was destroyed by fire and sadly a fan fell to his death on opening night.

The first leg of the tour is still ongoing.

Britney Spears celebrated the success of "Hold Me Closer" by sending Elton John a message using a fake British accent.

The "Toxic Singer" said in the video, "Hello Sir Elton John. We are like Number 1 in 40 countries. Holy sh*t! I'm in the tub right now and I'm about to go have the best day ever and I hope you're well."

TMZ reports that the two are starting to work on a video for the hit song.

Halsey Performs UK Show With 'Terrible Food Poisoning'

Halsey took the stage at the Leeds Festival Friday (Aug. 26th) with "terrible food poisoning."

According to NME, the singer wrote on their Instagram Stories Saturday (August 27th), "I have no idea how I'm still alive after my Leeds set. I have terrible food poisoning STILL! It started yesterday at 2pm and I somehow made it on stage (after the medical team at the festival were sooo helpful!)."

They added: "I have played shows under some messed up conditions but last night might be the worst in recent memory. Felt like I was on Jupiter the whole time.

Taylor Swift Announces That 'Midnights' Will Drop On October 21

Taylor Swift used her acceptance speech at the VMAs Sunday (August 28th) night to tease a new project, scheduled for release on October 21st.

The singer announced on Instagram after the show that she's gearing up for the fall release of the 13-track album, Midnights.

She wrote in her Stories, "We lie awake in love and in fear, in turmoil and in tears. We stare at walls and drink until they speak back. We twist in our self-made cages and pray that we aren't – right this minute – about to make some fateful life-altering mistake.

"This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through the terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching – hoping that just maybe when the clock strikes twelve…we'll meet ourselves."

Swift concluded, "Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out October 21. Meet me at midnight."

This will be the first album of new material that Swift has released since 2020's evermore.

Cardi B is directing her husband, Offset's upcoming video.

She didn't reveal who, but did say that he won't be the only one in the music clip. She tweeted, "I'm directing one of Offset's music videos with a very sexy, talented artist. It's going to be amazing."

The rumor mill seems to think it's R&B star Chlöe Bailey, who Offset recently teased a collaboration with.

Members Of My Chemical Romance And Coheed And Cambria Collaborate With Other Bands To Tour And Record

Frank lero of My Chemical Romance has teamed up with a few other artists to form a new group called L.S. Dunes.

Other band members include Travis Stever of Coheed and Cambria. Anthony Green from Circa Survive and two members from Thursday Tim Payne and Tucker Rule.

Through a press release, Rule said, "We wanted to do something where you can hear all our bands in it and yet, not have it sound like any one in particular."

The new single, "Permanent Rebellion" is out now and the album will be released on November 11.

L.S. Dunes have announced a short run of North American tour dates, kicking off at Riot Fest in Chicago on September 16th and wrapping up in Baltimore on November 30th.

Along with a selfie, with the crowd in the background, they posted: "What an amazing way to finish the 2022 European leg of this tour."

John Legend is the latest artist to announced that he'll teach an online class about songwriting, through MasterClass. He'll break down his writing process from start to finish, giving members a framework for finding their voice and writing with purpose. Date Set For BTS Comeback Concert

It's official, a date has been set for the BTS comeback concert. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will perform October 15 at Busan Ilgwang, in South Korea.

The free performance, will be the first by the K-pop stars since the June announcement that they would take a break. In the last few months members have been pursuing solo projects.

The in-person show is expected to attract more than 100,000 and another 10,000 people will be watching on a big screen in the parking lot of Busan Port International Passenger Terminal.

More details about a livestream are expected to be announced soon. As for now, it will stream on Weverse, ZEPETO, and NAVER NOW.
