Goldie Hawn Regrets Skipping The 1970 Oscars

Goldie Hawn regrets not picking up her Oscar award in person.

The actress, who was 25 at the time she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Cactus Flower, told Variety that she just didn't expect to win.

She said, "I never got dressed up. I never got to pick up the award. I regret it. It's something that I look back on now and think, ‘It would have been so great to be able to have done that.'"

In fact, the Private Benjamin star told the outlet she never even watched the ceremony until Jimmy Kimmel recently showed her the clip of Fred Astaire announcing her name.

She admitted, "He's my idol. And I didn't know he was the one that announced my name. I got emotional when I finally saw it."

Keira Knightly Felt 'Stuck' After Taking 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' Role

Keira Knightly says she felt "stuck" after taking the role of Elizabeth Swann in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl at the age of 17.

She told Harper's Bazaar UK, "Swann was the object of everybody's lust." Not that she doesn't have a lot of fight in her. But it was interesting coming from being really tomboyish to getting projected as quite the opposite. I felt very constrained. I felt very stuck."

The Love Actually star added that she spent the next several years trying to "break out of that." She added, "It very much felt like I was caged in a thing I didn't understand."

Sharon Stone claims that her role in Basic Instinct cost her custody of her son.

The actress told the Table for Two podcast that when she divorced Phil Bronstein in 2003, a judge ruled the couple's son would live primarily with Bronstein and only granted Stone visitation rights.

She recalled that the judge asked her son, "Do you know your mother makes sex movies," referring to the 1992 hit.

She added, "People are walking around with no clothes on at all in regular TV now. And you saw maybe, maybe, like a 16th of a second of nudity of me. And I lost custody of my child."

The experience, Stone said, sent her to the Mayo Clinic "with extra heartbeats in my upper and lower chamber of my heart…It literally broke my heart."

Thankfully, the teenager was not injured, but her father says she is "a bit" traumatized. The sound was so loud that she thought there was an earthquake.

The homeowner told the outlet that the car hit the house just outside of the living room, and that a window came out of its frame. He also told TMZ he is not planning to sue Davidson.

Drew Barrymore's Therapist Quit Seeing Her Due To Post-Divorce Drinking

Drew Barrymore revealed to The Los Angeles Times in a recent interview that her therapist, Barry Michels, was so concerned about her drinking following her divorce from Will Kopelman, that he stopped seeing her.

"He just said, ‘I can't do this anymore,'" the Never Been Kissed actress recalled. "It was really about my drinking. I said, ‘I get it. I've never respected you more. You see I'm not getting better. And I hope, one day, that I can earn your trust back.'"

One of Barrymore's close friends, Cameron Diaz, told the outlet that it was "difficult to watch" Barrymore go through this tough period. "But I knew that if we all stuck with her and gave her the support she needed, she would find her way," Diaz said. "I have absolute faith in her. You can't even comprehend how hard it was to be her as a child, and then she shot out the other end with the ability to save herself."

The E.T. star said she stopped drinking after filming the first episode of The Drew Barrymore Show in 2019. "I think the opportunity at a show like this really hit me," she said. "I was like, ‘I can't handle this unless I'm in a really clear place.'"

The source added that "people have been waiting for Rock's reaction for a year. For the most part, I think it was well received. People don't expect sugarcoating from Chris Rock."

The source continued, "Chris was open for a call until Will made his public apologies, and then all of those ‘Red Table Talk' discussions."

The source added, "Will's two public apologies were all about saving his own reputation. Will has not apologized to Chris Rock in person — and Chris isn't expecting it."

The source also revealed that Chris is ready to move now that he has said his piece.

On Saturday (March 4th), Pete Davidson was driving a Mercedes-Benz "at a high rate of speed" when he crashed the car into a Beverly Hills home. Police confirmed that Davidson was behind the wheel with The New York Post on Monday (March 6th). Davidson's girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, was in the car with him.

The accident took place around 11 p.m., as the Saturday Night Live star jumped a curb in the Flats neighborhood and took out a fire hydrant. The car then skidded on a front lawn before hitting the corner of a house.

Davidson and Wonders were both unharmed in the crash. A police investigation is underway.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Addresses Antisemitism In New Video

Arnold Schwarzenegger released a 12-minute video addressing the rise of antisemitism on Monday (March 6th). The Terminator actor began his speech by sharing his experience visiting Auschwitz recently, where Nazis killed 1.1 million Jews during World War II. He also mentioned his father, who was a member of the Nazi party.

"They fell for a horrible, loser ideology," Schwarzenegger said in the video. Chris Rock has broken his silence about Will Smith slapping him at the 94th annual Academy Awards nearly a year ago. During his live Netflix special Chris Rock: Selective Outrage on Saturday (March 4th), Rock blamed Smith's outburst on Jada Pinkett Smith's affair with singer August Alsina—which Jada referred to as an "entanglement" in 2020.

"Will Smith practices selective outrage," Rock said during his routine. "Everybody that really knows knows I had nothing to do with that s---. I didn't have any 'entanglements.' "

Rock continued, "We all been cheated on. Everybody in this industry has been cheated on. None of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television. None of us." On Friday (March 3rd) veteran actor Tom Sizemore died at the age of 61, after suffering a brain aneurysm that was the result of a stroke.
