Brian Cox isn't holding back when it comes to Jeremy Strong's approach to acting on Succession. In a new cover story for Town & Country, Cox said, "Oh, it's f—king annoying. Don't get me going on it."

"He's a very good actor," Cox told the outlet. "And the rest of the ensemble is all okay with this. But knowing a character and what the character does is only part of the skill set."

The Troy actor just thinks Strong should be able to step out of character. "He's still that guy, because he feels if he went somewhere else he'd lose it," Cox said. "But he won't! Strong is talented. He's fucking gifted. When you've got the gift, celebrate the gift. Go back to your trailer and have a hit of marijuana, you know?"

This isn't the first time Cox has expressed concern about Strong's method acting. On Late Night With Seth Meyers last year, he said, "I worry about what it does to him, because if you can't separate yourself — because you're dealing with all of this material every day. You can't live in it. Eventually, you get worn out."

Strong addressed this criticism in a British GQ profile published on Tuesday (February 21st). "Everyone's entitled to have their feelings. I also think Brian Cox, for example, he's earned the right to say whatever the f—k he wants," he said.

"I feel a lot of love for my siblings and my father on the show. And it is like a family in the sense that, and I'm sure they would say this, too, you don't always like the people that you love. I do always respect them," Strong added.

Jane Fonda got candid about one of her biggest regrets in life during a recent interview with CNN's Chris Wallace. The 80 for Brady star said she wishes she had been a better mother to her three kids.

"I was not the kind of mother that I wish that I had been to my children," Fonda said. "I have great, great children. Talented. Smart. I just didn't know how to do it."

She added that motherhood feels clearer to her now. "I have an organization in Georgia that deals with adolescents and I've studied parenting. I know what it's supposed to be now. I didn't know then. So I'm trying to show up now."

Jonathan Majors is opening up about why he's often spotted carrying little cups. On The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Tuesday (February 21st), the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star said, "I'm 33 years old. I've been doing it since I left my mother's house when I was about 18."

Majors said he has about four cups "in rotation," and he detailed their significance in relationship to his mother. "She was so terrified of the circus that I had joined — showbiz and the circus," he joked. "She was very clear about safety. 'No drinking, no drugs, no sex,' every time I left the house . . . This has happened my entire life. But the drinking was a thing and she'd always say, 'Baby, watch your cup. Watch your glass.'"

The Creed III actor said he carried the cups around so that he "always kept that in mind, for safety," but now the cups are a reminder that, "You are a vessel. Nobody can fill you up, nobody can pour you out — you do that yourself."

He added, "Holding onto this is a reminder that, even in this craziness happening, my self-esteem is my self-esteem. Nobody can make me, nobody can big me up, as it were, or tear me down."

DAVID HARBOUR THINKS IT'S TIME FOR ‘STRANGER THINGS' TO END: David Harbour is ready to say goodbye to Stranger Things. "What's funny is when I started the show, I never ever wanted it to end. That's why I love the show," he said in an interview with Discussing Film. "I think it's a great show, even if I wasn't in it. Now we're almost nine years from filming the first season, and I think it is time for it to end. But it is, of course, very bittersweet. You know, there's a sadness there."

Ariana DeBose's rap highlighting women who were nominated at the BAFTAs on Sunday (February 19th) quickly became the talk of the town. In her opening number, the West Side Story actress named Dolly De Leon, Carey Mulligan, and Michelle Yeoh, among others, as a camera panned to their lackluster responses.

Following the overwhelming response to her performance, DeBose left Twitter, and one of the show's producers called the criticism she received "incredibly unfair." However, DeBose also seems to be having fun with it, as she commented on a collection of memes shared by writer Evan Ross Katz on Instagram Monday (February 20th). "Honestly I love this," she wrote.

Liam Neeson wasn't thrilled with his time on The View last week. The Taken actor told The Rolling Stone that the segment made him "uncomfortable," as the show's co-hosts repeatedly joked about Joy Behar's crush on him.

One of the panelists said, "Joy wants to get taken by you," and producers even shared a montage of all the times that Behar talked about her crush on the show. In these clips, Behar says things like, "I would just like to have my ashes sprinkled over Liam Neeson."

In response to all of this, Neeson told the publication, "I was in the dressing room drinking a cup of tea, turned the TV up, and I thought, oh, this will be great. They're talking about gun violence in America, and I agree that it's an American problem. I go onstage and join the ladies during the break, and I was congratulating them on this discussion."

"And then our segment starts, and it's just all this BS with Joy and Liam Neeson and having a crush, and I've known Whoopi for years and Joy a little bit, but I just wasn't impressed," he said. "I'm uncomfortable in those situations, you know?"

The Love Actually star added that he had "good, intelligent conversation" with Sunny Hostin following the segment. "But then the segment's all about this thirteen, fourteen-year-old crush. It's just a bit embarrassing."

It's been almost a year since Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the 94th annual Academy Awards, and the Men in Black star is still reflecting on the shocking turn of events.

On Monday (February 20th), Smith shared a TikTok video of himself set alongside another video by TikTok user @missmoneyworking suggesting a way to make life "interesting and fun." @missmoneyworking says, "It sounds insane, but it will change your life."

Emma Thompson is getting real about the effort that goes in to campaigning for an Academy Award. The Cruella actress told RadioTimes, "Both times I had to do the Oscars, I got seriously ill."

"I found the pressure and glare of it too much," she said. "It's astonishing." Thompson has been nominated for five Academy Awards over the course of her career, and she's taken home two: one in 1993 for Howards End and the other in 1996 for Sense and Sensibility.

A FRIEND REPORTEDLY FOUND JANSEN PANETTIERE AFTER HE DIDN'T SHOW UP FOR A MEETING: According to a report by TMZ, friends were concerned on Sunday (February 19th) when Hayden Panettiere's brother, Jansen Panettiere, didn't show up for a business meeting. One friend rushed over to his apartment and found him unresponsive and "sitting upright in a chair." The friend called 911 and attempted CPR. The 28-year-old's cause of death has not yet been revealed.

ORLANDO BLOOM COMMENTS ON WHETHER OR NOT HE'D REPRISE HIS ‘PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN' ROLE: In a recent interview with Parade, Orlando Bloom said he would be interested in playing Will Turner again in another Pirates of the Caribbean movie. "I mean Will's so great," he told the outlet. "I wouldn't mind seeing what Will looked like today in some ways, because he was such this earnest guy."

New Mexico prosecutors in the fatal Rust shooting case have downgraded the involuntary manslaughter charges against Alec Baldwin, in an amended complaint filed Friday (February 17th).

The decision to drop the firearm enhancement charge reduces the amount of time Baldwin could spend in prison by five years. This charge was dropped against former Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed as well.

Heather Brewer, spokesperson the Santa Fe District Attorney's Office, said in a statement Monday (February 20th), "In order to avoid further litigious distractions by Mr. Baldwin and his attorneys, the District Attorney and the special prosecutor have removed the firearm enhancement to the involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Halyna Hutchins on the Rust film set." Brewer added, "The prosecution's priority is securing justice, not securing billable hours for big-city attorneys."

Baldwin still faces an involuntary manslaughter charge, which could carry a sentence of up to 18 months in prison. Gutierrez-Reed faces the same charge.

David Cross told Salon in a recent interview that he has had enough of the comics who "b—h and moan" about cancel culture. His comments seem directed at comedians like Dave Chappelle and Bill Maher, who have both faced significant backlash for their transphobic remarks.

The Arrested Development actor told the outlet, "All the comics who b—h and moan about, ‘Hey, they're trying to cancel me for this joke I made.' Most of the time it's a nothing joke and it doesn't matter."

Tyler Perry took to Instagram on Monday (February 20th) to deny the reports that Tyler Perry's House of Payne actress Cassi Davis died of lung cancer. Perry shared a screenshot of the article in question and wrote "THIS IS A LIE," over it in red text.

He wrote in the caption, "After I've gotten several calls from people giving me their condolences and I didn't know what they were talking about, I was sent this article that's going around."

JANSEN PANETTIERE DIES AT 28: Deadline reports that Hayden Panettiere's younger brother, Jansen Panettiere, died on Sunday (February 19th) at the age of 28. His cause of death has not yet been revealed. An actor himself, Panettiere appeared on Even Stevens, Blue's Clues, Ice Age: The Meltdown, and The Walking Dead. Jansen and Hayden both starred in the Disney Channel movie Tiger Cruise, and his most recent role was in 2022's Love and Love Not.

BARBARA BOSSON DIES AT 83: Variety reports that Hill Street Blues actress Barbara Bosson passed away on Saturday (February 18th) at the age of 83. Her son, Jesse Bochco, confirmed the news in an Instagram post. "More spirit and zest than you could shake a stick at. When she loved you, you felt it without a doubt. If she didn't, you may well have also known that too. Forever in our hearts. I love you Mama. Barbara "Babs" Bosson Bochco 1939-2023," he wrote. Bosson played Fay Furillo on Hill Street Blues from 1981 to 1986, and she was nominated for five Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series during that time. Her other roles include Richie Brockelman, Private Eye, Hooperman, and Cop Rock. She also appeared on shows such as Mannix, Crazy Like a Fox, L.A. Law, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

THE BAFTA FILM AWARDS FACE CRITICISM FOR LACK OF DIVERSITY: According to Deadline, the hashtag #BaftaSoWhite is trending again on social media, following the 2023 awards show Sunday (February 19th). A group photo showing the night's winners is also making the rounds and appears to only feature one Black person: Alison Hammond, who co-hosted the event with Richard E Grant. BAFTA member Del Walker shared the photo on Twitter and wrote, "Here are the winners of the 2023 BAFTAs. The black woman is a presenter. ‘BACK TO THE FUTURE' CAST REUNITES AT FAN EXPO CONVENTION: Today reports that over the weekend, the cast of the 1985 film Back to the Future reunited at the Fan Expo convention in Portland, Oregon. Michael J. Fox and Lea Thompson shared photos and video from the event to their respective Instagram pages. "Wow honestly had the best time today with my #bttf family," Thompson wrote in the caption of her post. Fox wrote in his Instagram stories, "I love being at these FanExpo events and seeing some of my favorite people like Lea, Tom, Chris and all you #bttf heads. Heavy."

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania brought moviegoers to the domestic box office in droves over the long weekend. The film took the number one spot with an expected $118 million over the four-day stretch. Deadline reports that this opening is 44% higher than the original film's debut in 2018.

Meanwhile, Avatar: The Way of Water came in second place, with an expected $7.5 million over the four-day weekend. Globally, the film has now surpassed Titanic, another James Cameron film, as the third highest-grossing film ever.

The pair were married in 2019, and Wesley's rep told the outlet in September last year: "The decision to separate is mutual and occurred five months ago." de Ramon has been rumored to be dating Brad Pitt since November, and the Bullet Train actor reportedly sent her a bouquet of pink peonies on Valentine's Day.

JUDD APATOW ROASTS TOM CRUISE: According to The New York Post, Judd Apatow took aim at Tom Cruise during the Directors Guild of America Awards on Saturday (February 18th). "The special effects in ‘Maverick' were so top-notch, I couldn't even see the stack of phone books Tom Cruise sat on to reach the flight controls," Apatow joked. "Remember when Tom Cruise jumped up and down on the couch and we all thought, ‘What a lunatic!' And now he rides a motorcycle off a cliff and BASE jumps and we're all like, ‘Tom's fine!'" The 40-Year-Old Virgin director added, "Tom is not fine. Someone needs to explain to him something called CGI. You're 60. Calm down." Apatow also went after Cruise's relationship to Scientology. "But every time he does one of these new stunts, it does feel like an ad for Scientology," he said. "I mean, is that in Dianetics? Because there's nothing about jumping off a cliff in the Torah."
