Pete Davidson said goodbye to his beloved dog Thursday (Mary 4th).

The Saturday Night Live alum posted a note to his friend Dave Sirius' account that read, "Henry was only 2 years old but unfortunately got very sick very fast. My mom, sister and I got Henry at the beginning of the pandemic and he saved our lives. Not sure I'd even be around without him.

"He was the happiest and sweetest dog ever. He used to get excited when he saw me and would pee everywhere. When I was working at SNL my mom would send me videos of him watching, smiling and making noise when I came on screen. I don't ever really watch any of my stuff with anyone as I'm far too scared but I didn't mind watching with Henry. "

The comedian concluded, "My mom, sister and I are broken and will miss him forever. We love you Henry. Thank you for making our lives fuller and reminding me what actually matters."

Jason Sudekis and Olivia Wilde are fighting back against the former nanny who is suing them in a California court.

According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, the former couple says Ericka Genaro's civil suit should have been addressed in a private arbitration in New York.

They told TMZ, "It is unfortunate that this private matter continues to play out in the press. Our focus has been and will continue to be to steadfastly protect our family in the face of harassment of any kind. We are confident that the evidence brought forward will affirm our position to summarily dismiss this case and bring our family peace."

Their former nanny alleges she was fired after she asked for a three-day leave to address mental health issues caused by their tumultuous breakup.

LISA VANDERPUMP IS CLOSING PUMP RESTAURANT: Lisa Vanderpump is closing her famed West Hollywood restaurant for good. She told E! News Thursday (May 4th), "It's with heavy hearts that we announce that the lease at Pump Restaurant is expiring and we will be closing its doors on July 5th after 10 years of beautiful evenings under our olive trees." TMZ reports that Vanderpump's landlord is jacking up the rent to $1 million per year.

KEVIN HART SAYS JAMIE FOXX IS 'A WORLD OF BETTER': Kevin Hart shared an update on Jamie Foxx's condition on the Impaulsive podcast Wednesday (May 3rd). He told hosts Logan Paul and Mike Majlak, "The dope thing is that he's getting better in his situation, and everybody's prayers, everybody's love, energy, all that stuff is seen and felt by him." The comedian added, "I don't know the details — or the exact details — as to what's going on, but to my knowledge, there's a lot of progression and a world of better."

CHRISTINA APPLEGATE SAYS ABC EXECUTIVES WERE 'NOT VERY SYMPATHETIC' TO HER CANCER DIAGNOSIS: Christina Applegate says that the network executives at ABC "were not very sympathetic or empathetic human beings" when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. She told Vanity Fair that she returned to the set of Samantha Who only two weeks after her reconstruction surgery and added, "I didn't feel like I could have that voice to be like, ‘You know what, it's only been two weeks, and I'm in a lot of pain and maybe we should just let me have a second.'"

DEVON WINDSOR WELCOMES SECOND DAUGHTER: Devon Windsor and her husband, Johnny Dex Barbara, welcomed their second child on Monday (May 1st). The Victoria's Secret model captioned an Instagram photo of herself holding the newborn Thursday (May 4th) with "Celine Blue Barbara 5.1.23."

KEVIN COSTNER NOT EXPECTED TO CONTINUE WITH 'YELLOWSTONE': Kevin Costner is not expected to return to Yellowstone once Season 5 concludes. Sources close to production told Entertainment Tonight that the star will not return amid reports of alleged drama with co-creator Taylor Sheridan over the actor's filming commitments. Additional sources told ET that there is also no date set for the rest of the cast to return to the set of the Paramount Network series.

DREW BARRYMORE DROPS OUT OF MTV MOVIE & TV AWARDS: Drew Barrymore is will not host the upcoming MTV Movie & TV Awards to show solidarity with the striking members of the Writers Guild of America. The talk show host explained her decision in a statement to Deadline, saying, " I have listened to the writers, and in order to truly respect them, I will pivot from hosting the MTV Movie & TV Awards live in solidarity with the strike. Everything we celebrate and honor about movies and television is born out of their creation. And until a solution is reached, I am choosing to wait but I'll be watching from home and hope you will join me." The show is set to air Sunday, May 7th.

JENNIFER COOLIDGE TO MISS 'SNL' DEBUT: Jennifer Coolidge will miss out on her Saturday Night Live hosting debut in the wake of the writers strike. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Succession's Kieran Culking was booked as host for the May 13th episode of SNL while The White Lotus star was set for the season finale.

BRAD PITT TO RACE FORMULA ONE CAR FOR NEW FILM: Brad Pitt will get in the cockpit of a real Formula One race car for his upcoming film on the international racing league. According to Variety, director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Pitt will be driving an F1 car "from Silverstone to the end of the year." Silverstone is the track where the British Grand Prix takes place.

Billie Lourd confirmed Wednesday (May 3rd) that she did not invite Carrie Fisher's siblings - Todd, Joely and Tricia Leigh Fisher - to the late actress' Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on Thursday, May 4.

According to a statement obtained by Variety, Lourd said, "Days after my mom died, her brother and her sister chose to process their grief publicly and capitalize on my mother's death, by doing multiple interviews and selling individual books for a lot of money, with my mom and my grandmother's deaths as the subject. I only found out they had done this through the press. They never consulted me or considered how this would affect our relationship."

She added, "To be clear — there is no feud. We have no relationship. This was a conscious decision on my part to break a cycle with a way of life I want no part of for myself or my children."

Carrie's sisters, Joely and Tricia, issued their own statement on Instagram Wednesday (May 3rd).

The siblings wrote, "Strangely we won't be in attendance to celebrate our sister, whom we adored. For some bizarre, misguided reason our niece has chosen not to include us in this epic moment in our sister's career. This is something Carrie would have definitely wanted her siblings to be present for. The fact that her only brother and two sisters were intentionally and deliberately excluded is deeply shocking. We have all been grieving the loss of our favorite human for some years now…we have given Billie the space to do that in her own way. We have been nothing but loving and open, consistently. Carrie Fisher passed away in December 2016 at the age of 60. Her mother, and Lourd's grandmother, Debbie Reynolds passed a day later.

Jamie Foxx has returned to social media for the first time since his medical emergency on April 11th.

The Oscar winner thanked Nick Cannon for taking over hosting duties on Beat Shazam on his Instagram Story and added a post that read, "Appreciate all the love. Feeling blessed."

Foxx's daughter Corinne announced on social media last month that her father suffered a "medical complication" and was on his way to recovery "due to quick action and great care."

MARIA MENUONOS DISCUSSES PANCEATIC CANCER JOURNEY: In an interview published in People Wednesday (May 3rd), Maria Menuonos opened up about receiving a pancreatic cancer diagnosis at the same time she was expecting the birth of her first child. The 44-year-old Extra host, who had previously been diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2017, said doctors discovered she had a 3.9-centimeter mass after months of suffering from abdominal pain and diarrhea. She told the outlet, "I'm like 'How in the freaking world can I have a brain tumor and pancreatic cancer?' All I could think was that I have a baby coming." According to her doctors, Menuonos is in good shape after having surgery to remove the tumor along with part of her pancreas, her spleen, a large fibroid and 17 lymph nodes on February 16th.

For the first time in 15 years, the Writers Guild of America has gone on strike. This comes after "six weeks of negotiating" between the WGA and major production studios.

"Though our Negotiating Committee began this process intent on making a fair deal, the studios' responses have been wholly insufficient given the existential crisis writers are facing," the WGA tweeted late Monday night (May 1st).

According to Yahoo! News, picket lines began forming outside of Warner Bros., Paramount, and Netflix on Tuesday (May 2nd), as Hollywood writers demand better pay in the streaming era.

"The companies' behavior has created a gig economy inside a union work force, and their immovable stance in this negotiation has betrayed a commitment to further devaluing the profession of writing," the union said in a statement.

The outlet reports that affected shows so far include late-night talk shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show, The Daily Show, and Saturday Night Live —as well as scripted series like Abbott Elementary, Cobra Kai, House of the Dragon, and Yellowjackets.

Stars such as Wanda Sykes, Rob Lowe, and Aidy Bryant all shared their support for the writers on strike, joining them on the picket line Tuesday (May 2nd).

The 2023 Tony Award nominations were announced on Tuesday (May 2nd), with Some Like it Hot leading the roster with 13 nods. & Juliet, Shucked, and New York, New York followed close behind with nine nods each. The most-nominated plays include A Doll's House, Leopoldstadt, and Ain't No Mo' with six nods each.

Jessica Chastain celebrated her nomination for Best Leading Actress in a Play for her role in A Doll's House on Instagram Tuesday (May 2nd). "If I could tell that girl who yearly recorded the Tony Awards on her VHS that this would happen, it would have blown my world open. To tell her she'd be living in New York, performing in A Doll's House, and nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress… It is a dream come true," she wrote alongside a throwback photo of herself.

Private Practice star Audra McDonald was also nominated for Best Leading Actress in a Play for her role in Ohio State Murders. Entertainment Tonight reports that this is McDonald's 10th nomination, making her one of the most-nominated individual performers in Tony Awards history, alongside Chita Rivera and Julie Harris.

Allison Holker opened up to People about the loss of her husband, Stephen ‘tWitch' Boss, in her first interview since his death. The Ellen DeGeneres Show deejay died by suicide in December of last year. He was just 40 years old.

"No one had any inkling that he was low. He didn't want people to know," she told the outlet. "He just wanted to be everyone's Superman and protector."

The couple had three children together: 14-year-old Weslie, three-year-old Zaia, 3, and seven-year-old Maddox. "We'd have so many random conversations, and there was so much laughter," Holker said of the family's dinners together. "Our love was so real and so loud. We always told people our house was like a choreographed dance."

"It's been really hard because I can't understand what was happening in that moment he died," she added. "Stephen brought so much joy to this world, and he deserves to be remembered as the beautiful man he was."
