Jackass star Steve-O is pleading with his longtime friend and costar Bam Margera to get sober. Last week, Steve-O wrote and deleted a comment on an Instagram post by Margera, begging him to "choose recovery."

Margera has been publicly struggling with substance abuse for years. "Bam, last night you had your five year old son with you on stage at my show, and you were blessed with the chance to spend another day or two with him — then as soon as you left my show, you stayed up all night getting loaded..." Steve-O wrote.

He continued, "You say you want to have a relationship with your son, but your actions guarantee the exact opposite will happen. I brought you on tour with me in hopes that I could get you to see what's possible for you if you choose recovery." Steve-O has been sober himself for 15 years.

"I wish you could know how much I've hated feeling braced for news of your death, but you're making it clear that I have no other choice," he added. "You're dying, brother, and it sucks that I can't do anything to save you."

Over the weekend, Universal's Knock at the Cabin became the first movie to bump Avatar: The Way of Water out of the top spot at the domestic box office. The film pulled in $14.2 million, topping 80 for Brady, which debuted in second place at $12.5 million. Knock at the Cabin is also M. Night Shyamalan's seventh film to debut in the number one spot, according to Deadline.

MEGAN FOX ATTENDS GRAMMYS PARTY AFTER SUFFERING CONCUSSION AND BROKEN WRIST: Megan Fox revealed on Instagram Sunday (February 5th) that despite suffering a concussion and a broken wrist, she still made her way to Clive Davis' pre-GRAMMYs gala. "Off the plane with a broken wrist and a concussion straight to a Grammys party," she wrote on Instagram. Entertainment Tonight reports that she showed up on the red carpet sporting a hot-pink brace on her right hand. It is not yet known how she was injured.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER ALLEGEDLY HITS BICYCLIST WITH HIS CAR: According to TMZ, Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a traffic accident over the weekend that sent a bicyclist to the hospital. Law enforcement officials told the outlet that the bicyclist made a left turn in front of Schwarzenegger before he was able to hit his brakes. He was reportedly not going very fast, but the woman complained of pain afterwards. No alcohol or drug use is suspected. The outlet also reports that the Terminator actor took the woman's bike to a local bike shop for repairs.

KIT HARRINGTON AND ROSE LESLIE ARE EXPECTING THEIR SECOND CHILD: Game of Thrones fans will be delighted to learn that Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie are expecting another baby! Harrington shared the news on The Tonight Show Friday (February 3rd), telling Jimmy Fallon that the baby boy they welcomed in 2021 is "about to get the shock of his life," since he's going to "get a brother or sister." Harrington also shared that he is "terrified" for their second child to arrive. "With the first baby you're like walking through clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for 9 months, well — the man is anyway," he said. GEORGE R. ROBERTSON DIES AT 89: Deadline reports that Police Academy star George R. Robertson passed away on January 29th at the age of 89. His family did not reveal his cause of death. Robertson played Chief Hurst in the first six Police Academy films. He appeared in films such as Airport, Norma Rae, and JFK, and he portrayed Vice President Dick Cheney in the ABC miniseries The Path to 9/11 and the fictional U.S. president in National Lampoon's Senior Trip.

MELINDA DILLON DIES AT 83: According to The Hollywood Reporter, two-time Oscar-nominated actress Melinda Dillon died on January 9th at the age of 83. Her cause of death is not yet known. Dillon's acting roles included Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Absence of Malice, A Christmas Story, Bound for Glory, and Slapshot.

Dwayne Johnson's mother is "ok" following a serious car crash in Los Angeles Wednesday (February 1st) night.

Matthew McConaughey told Vanity Fair in an interview published Thursday (February 2nd) that a "fortune teller guru" on Sunset Boulevard told him to take the role of Benjamin Barry in the 2003 romantic comedy.

MATT LAUER REPORTEDLY PLOTTING COMEBACK: Matt Lauer may be plotting his return. Once source told Page Six, "He thinks that he should be able to have a comeback," while Lauer's friends are said to be pushing him to make a move like Megyn Kelly and put himself back in the games on his "own terms." 'NIGHT COURT' RENEWED FOR SEASON 2: NBC has renewed Night Court for a second season. Deadline reports that the revival tallied the most viewers for any comedy premiere since The Conners debuted on ABC in 2018. It was NBC's best comedy premiere since Will & Grace in 2017.

RAY WOOD JR. TO PERFORM AT WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS' DINNER: Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr. will be the entertainer at the 2023 White House Correspondents' Dinner. The White House Correspondents' Association announced his participation in the April 29th event on Thursday (February 2nd).

SCOTT LANG BIOGRAPHY IS REAL: Although Scott Lang may be fictional, his autobiography is not. Marvel announced Thursday (February 2nd) that that Ant-Man's memoir, "Look Out For The Little Guy," will be available for purchase from Amazon. The announcement was mad by Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantomania star Paul Rudd in a clip posted to the Marvel Studio's social media accounts.

Keanu Reeves is seeking an order of protection against a 38-year-old man who has been harassing him and his partner, Alexandra Grant, for months.

TMZ reports that the Matrix star's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, filed for the restraining order against Bryan Dixon Tuesday (January 31st).

According to legal documents, Dixon trespassed six times from November through January, including an incident where he left behind a backpack containing a DNA kit he intended to use to prove that he and Reeves are related.

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are still trying to work out their child custody issues.

Sources tell TMZ that the Ted Lasso star's lawyer, Bill Beslow is attempting to have the remaining issues resolved by a New York judge when a previous ruling stated that all custody issues would be resolved in Los Angeles.

According to the insider, Sudeikis does not want child support from Wilde and is willing to pay her a "reasonable amount" as long as the decision is made either by a New York judge or between the two of them. The Don't Worry Darling director, however, wants things settled in California.

A hearing is set in New York for February 15th.

Alyssa Milano has apologized for "bullying" Britney Spears.

A rep for the actress told TMZ that Milano reached out to the "Toxic" singer privately Wednesday (February 1st) to apologize for her December tweet asking "someone" to "please go check on Britney Spears."

Spears had respond to the tweet on Instagram Tuesday (January 31st), writing, "It saddens me to see things about me from people who don't know me !!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying !!! Ladies, we are supposed to be rooting for one another not pulling one another down !!!"

Gillian Anderson is working on a "generation-defining book' about sex.

The Sex Education star made a plea to her followers on Twitter to sent her anonymous letters about their "personal desires" at deargillian.com.

She said in the clip, "As women, we know that sex is about more than just sex. And yet so many of us don't talk about it. Our deepest, most intimate fears and fantasies remain locked away inside of us, until someone comes along with the key."

EMMA THOMPSON TO STAR IN 'THE FISHERWOMAN': Emma Thompson will star in Brian Kirk's upcoming action thriller, The Fisherwoman. Variety revealed exclusively that the Matilda star will play a widowed fisherman who interrupts the kidnapping of a teenager during a Minnesotan blizzard.

'PENNYWORTH' CANCELED AT HBO: Pennyworth has been canceled after three seasons at HBO Max. The DC origin series about Batman's butler ran from October 2022 through the end of November.

Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies formally filed charges against Alec Baldwin and Rust armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed on Tuesday (January 31st). Both were charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter over the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.

In the filing, the statement of probable cause reads: "On the day of the shooting alone, evidence shows that no less than a dozen acts, or omissions of recklessness, occurred in the short time prior to lunch and the time of the shooting, and this does not include the reckless handling of the firearm by Baldwin." As a producer on the film, Baldwin "directly contributed and/or failed to mitigate numerous reckless and dangerous actions during a very short time period."

Special Investigator Robert Shilling of the Santa Fe D.A.'s office writes, "This reckless deviation from known standards and practice and protocol directly caused the fatal shooting."

He added, "Baldwin acted with willful disregard of the safety of others and in a manner which endangered other people, specifically Hutchins and Joel Souza. Baldwin clearly should have known of the danger of his actions which led to the death of Hutchins."

Ashton Kutcher wasn't happy when his ex-wife Demi Moore published her 2019 memoir Inside Out. In fact, the Butterfly Effect actor told Esquire in a new cover story that he was "f—king pissed" when it came out.

"I'd finally gotten to a place where the press had really laid off me and wife Mila Kunis, and my life and my family. And then the next day, the paparazzi are at my kids' school," Kutcher said.

Kutcher and Moore were married from 2005 to 2013, and one of the claims in the Ghost actress' book is that he cheated on her.

In his interview with Esquire, Kutcher said, "I don't want to open anything up in that realm." The That ‘70s Show star added, "Nothing makes you feel like a failure like divorce. Divorce feels like a wholesale f—ing failure. You failed at marriage."

Austin Butler spoke with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Monday (January 30th) about his "immediate" connection with the late Lisa Marie Presley. The pair first met when they held a screening of Elvis at Graceland.

"I've never had an experience where I met somebody and felt an immediate depth of relationship to them," he said. "She was a person who didn't really have anything to prove and wouldn't open up to everybody, and she just opened up to me."

Recalling the moment that Lisa Marie took him to see Elvis' bedroom, he said he "gets goosebumps" thinking about it. "That was after we screened the film and the bedroom, you know, his bedroom is a place that most people never get to see. And she said, 'I want to show you something.' And she took me up there we just sat in his bedroom. And up there, he's not Elvis, he was just dad, you know?"

He added that the loss of Lisa Marie is "just devastating."

Rupert Grint is getting real about his time in the Harry Potter franchise. Having played Ron Weasley for 10 years between 2001 and 2011, Grint told Bustle that the part sometimes felt "suffocating."

"Potter was so full on — filming all year, then we'd promote the rest of the time. It was quite suffocating," he told the outlet. "I wanted a break, to reflect on everything… It was an out-of-body experience for a while, but I think we finished at the right time. If we continued, it could've gone downhill."

Grint added that he even had trouble distinguishing himself from his character at times. "I was feeling the difficulty of being seen, being overshadowed," he said. "In the movies, we merged into one. By the end of it, I was playing myself. The lines were blurred."

KERRY WASHINGTON ANNOUNCES FORTHCOMING MEMOIR: Scandal star Kerry Washington wrote a memoir titled Thicker Than Water, and it will be hitting shelves on September 26th. According to Entertainment Tonight, the book will give "an intimate view into both Washington's public and private worlds -- as an artist, an advocate, an entrepreneur, a mother, a daughter, a wife, a Black woman." Washington shared the news via Instagram on Tuesday (January 31st), which was also her birthday!

JOSH DUHAMEL DEFENDS KATERINE HEIGL OVER ‘BAD RAP' RUMORS: Josh Duhamel is supporting his Life As We Know It costar, Katherine Heigl. According to Entertainment Tonight, the Grey's Anatomy star has been rumored to be "difficult" to work with, ever since she withdrew her name from Emmy consideration in 2008. "Katy Heigl gets a bad rap, but she's awesome," Duhamel said on Monday's (January 30th) episode of the Chicks in the Office podcast. He added, "She probably said some things that she probably wishes she could've taken back but my experience, on and off screen with her, was awesome."

JINGER DUGGAR COMMENTS ON JOSH DUGGAR'S CONVICTION: Jinger Duggar appeared on Tuesday's (January 31st) episode of Tamron Hall and shared that she hasn't spoken to her brother, Josh Duggar, "in years." Josh was sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for the possession of child pornography in May of 2022. "I just would pray that he would be truly broken over what he has done. So I just pray for the victims and their families," Jinger said. "Your heart has to be changed from the inside out and only Jesus can truly change that." She added, "That's not something I saw in my brother. He's not truly changed. So until God does that, it's only what God can do."

ACADEMY SAYS ANDREA RISEBOROUGH CAN KEEP OSCAR NOMINATION: Deadline reports that on Tuesday (January 31st), the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that they will not be revoking Andrea Riseborough's Best Actress nomination for her role in To Leslie. Academy CEO Bill Kramer said in a statement, "The Academy has determined the activity in question does not rise to the level that the film's nomination should be rescinded." Riseborough's costar in the movie, Marc Maron, commented on the situation on his WTF podcast recently. "Apparently, the Academy of Motion Picture Sciences or whatever the f—ck it is has decided to investigate Andrea Riseborough's grassroots campaign to get her the Oscar nomination, because I guess it so threatens their system to where they're completely bought out by corporate interests in the form of studios." Christina Ricci also slammed the academy on social media last week. "Seems hilarious that the ‘surprise nomination' (meaning tons of money wasn't spent to position this actress) of a legitimately brilliant performance is being met with an investigation. So it's only the films and actors that can afford the campaigns that deserve recognition? Feels elitist and exclusive and frankly very backward to me," she wrote.

‘THE BATMAN PART II' GETS RELEASE DATE: According to Variety, The Batman Part II is scheduled to hit theaters on October 3rd, 2025. James Gunn and Peter Safran confirmed the news during a press conference Monday (January 30th). As for Batgirl, which Warner Bros. shelved last year, Safran said the movie was "not releasable." He commented, "I saw the movie, and there are a lot of incredibly talented people in front of and behind the camera in that film. But that was not releasable. It happens sometimes." Safran added that the film "would have hurt DC."

VIOLA DAVIS TO STAR IN ‘WALLER' SPINOFF SERIES: Deadline reports that James Gunn and Peter Safran also announced on Monday (January 30th) that there will be a Peacemaker spinoff titled Waller. The series will center on the character Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis. "Very exciting news. Can't wait to tackle ‘The Wall'. Let's go @jamesgunn #PeterSafran @hbomax #Waller," Davis wrote on Instagram Tuesday (January 31st).

WILL SMITH AND MARTIN LAWRENCE CONFIRM ‘BAD BOYS 4:' Will Smith shared a video to Instagram Tuesday (January 31st), during which he drives to Martin Lawrence's house. "Yo, I've got an announcement," Smith says in the video. "I wish I was you, not knowing what I'm about to show me." Together the pair excitedly announce that there will be a Bad Boys 4. Jay Leno is in hot water for a joke he made on Twitter Friday (January 27th) about The Avengers star Jeremy Renner. The late-night talk show host broke multiple bones in a motorcycle accident on January 17th, just months after he suffered third-degree burns in a garage fire.

"I was riding my motorcycle up in Lake Tahoe and I came around the corner and bam, I crashed into Jeremy Renner's snowplow," Leno tweeted, referencing the snowplow accident that left Renner with more than 30 broken bones. Leno himself is suffering from a broken collarbone, two broken ribs, and two cracked kneecaps.

"How is that funny," on person responded. "Not funny. Renner broke 30 bones in the process of saving his nephew's life. Respect to the guy. Pure guts," another wrote.

However, some fans chimed in to support Leno. "Please school the veteran comedian who just had a serious accident, but can joke about his incident on what's funny," one person commented.

"I wish she would have made the money," Brandon reportedly says. "She would have made millions of dollars if she had just signed the paper."

He continues, commenting on how the sex tape altered the course of his mother's career. "Instead she sat back with nothing and watched her career fizzle into thin air. She was in debt most of her life," he says.

"When I was a kid, I always thought that everyone knew things about me and my family that they really shouldn't have known, and everyone had this dirty little secret about my family," he added.

In the documentary, Anderson says she never would have "monetized" on the stolen tape.
