The American Idol host announced Thursday (February 16th) that he plans to leave when the singing competition series starts up again this spring. He will be replaced by co-host Kelly Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos.

EVANGELINE LILLY TURNED DOWN 'X-MEN': Evangeline Lilly once turned down Hugh Jackman's offer to join the X-Men. TMZ reports that Nicole Boyd filed separations papers Wednesday (February 15th) in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakdown of their marriage.

She is asking for both legal and physical custody of their 5-year-old son as well spousal support.

The couple wed in in October 2013, and she lists the date of their separation as September 2021.

Jeremy Renner is promoting his four-part Disney+ series, Rennervations, as he recovers from his January 1st snowplow accident.

Keanu Reeves recently told Wired magazine that deepfakes and AI technology are "scary." The actor said that he even added clauses to his contracts to make sure his performance isn't altered

He explained, "I don't mind if someone takes a blink out during an edit. But early on, in the early 2000s, or it might have been the '90s, I had a performance changed. They added a tear to my face, and I was just like, ‘Huh?!' It was like, ‘I don't even have to be here.'"

The John Wick actor added, "What's frustrating about that is you lose your agency. When you give a performance in a film, you know you're going to be edited, but you're participating in that. If you go into deepfake land, it has none of your points of view. That's scary."

HEATHER RAE YOUNG REVEALS SON'S NAME: Heather Rae Young revealed the name of her first child with Tarek El Moussa to Us Weekly. She told the outlet that they have chosen the name Tristen Jay El Moussa. She shared, "Tarek was supposed to be named Tristan, and his parents ended up naming him Tarek. 'POKER FACE' GETS A SECOND SEASON: Peacock has renewed Poker Face. On Wednesday (February 15th), the streamer announced that the weekly mystery series, starring Natasha Lyonne, will return for a second season.

'THE PREMISE' CANCELED: TV Line reports that B.J. Novak's The Premise will not return for a second season. The long-dormant anthology series ran for one season via FX on Hulu in the fall of 2021.

DANIEL RADCLIFFE JOINS 'DIGMAN': Andy Samberg's adult animated series, Digman, is rounding out it's voice cast. According to Variety, Maya Rudolph, Daniel Radcliffe and Jane Lynch are among the talent that will be joining the series, which will premiere March 22nd on Comedy Central.

KAITLIN OLSON JOINS DETECTIVE PILOT: Kaitlin Olson is set to lead the ABC detective drama pilot based on the French series, HPI. Variety reports that Rob Thomas will serve as showrunner.

Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde's former live-in nanny, Erika Genaro, is making headlines again. Following her tell-all interview with The Daily Mail in October, Genaro is now suing the former couple for wrongful termination.

The former nanny claims that she was fired after she sought "a three day leave of absence," to treat the "disability of anxiety/depression," that was caused by their separation.

She claims that her care for Sudeikis and Wilde's children "increased exponentially" after the Don't Worry Darling director moved out of the house. "The pressure of Genaro not only being the primary caretaker of the children, but also filling in Wilde's absence for the children, became debilitating," the documents state.

Genaro started working for the couple in 2018, and she told Page Six in an exclusive interview that she "would love to say goodbye to the kids." She added, "They felt so much abandonment from Olivia when she left."

Sharon Stone is grieving her brother, Patrick Joseph Stone, who died from a heart attack over the weekend at the age of 57. The Total Recall actress shared a tearful video to Instagram on Monday (February 13th) to confirm the news.

"Yes, we did lose my brother, Patrick Joseph Stone, to a heart attack yesterday," she said. "Yes, he is the man who was the father to River, who we lost last year, at 11 months old." The Basic Instinct actress shared the news that River died from "total organ failure" in August.

Stone added, "Like any family, we thank you for your love and support in this time of immeasurable grief and we appreciate all of your condolences." Stars such as Jeremy Renner and Kate Beckinsale offered their condolences in the comments section.

‘RUST' TO RESUME FILMING IN THE SPRING: According to Variety, the producers of Rust announced on Tuesday (February 14th) that they will resume filming in the spring. Bianca Cline will take over as cinematographer for Halyna Hutchins, who was fatally shot on the set of the film in 2021. Alec Baldwin will continue to play the lead, and Joel Souza, who was shot in the shoulder, will be returning to the film as well. Souza said in a statement, "Though bittersweet, I am grateful that a brilliant and dedicated new production team joining former cast and crew are committed to completing what Halyna and I started.My every effort on this film will be devoted to honoring Halyna's legacy and making her proud. STEVEN SPIELBERG TELLS TOM CRUISE HE ‘SAVED HOLLYWOOD'S A—:' Deadline reports that a video of Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise interacting at the Oscars nominees luncheon Monday (February 13th) is making the rounds on social media. After the pair hug in the video, Spielberg tells Cruise, "You saved Hollywood's a—," referring to the success he had with Top Gun: Maverick. "And, you might have saved theatrical distribution. ‘TED LASSO' GETS SEASON THREE PREMIERE DATE: According to Variety, Apple TV+ announced the season three premiere date for Ted Lasso on Tuesday (February 14th) and shared a teaser for the new season. The sports comedy is set to return to the streaming platform on March 15th.

CHECK OUT THE TRAILER FOR ‘LOVE AGAIN:' People reports that the trailer for Love Again dropped on Valentine's Day (February 14th), starring Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan. The film also features music icon Celine Dion making her acting debut, as she helps bring the pair together. A synopsis for the film reads, "A journalist, Rob Heughan is captivated by the honesty in the beautifully confessional texts. When he's assigned to write a profile of megastar Céline Dion, he enlists her help in figuring out how to meet Mira Chopra in person … and win her heart." Love Again is scheduled to hit theaters on May 12th.

It seems Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly haven't gone their separate ways just yet. A source told People that the Jennifer's Body actress is "very upset" with the "Bloody Valentine" singer, and that she "won't speak to" him.

Apparently, the pair "had a fight over the weekend," before Fox let her frustrations out on Instagram by deleting photos of Kelly and posting lyrics from Beyonce's song "Pray You Catch Me." Fox later deactivated her account altogether.

"They haven't officially called off the engagement but Megan took her ring off," the source added. "They have had issues in the past, but things seem pretty serious this time."

The Oscars have faced a lot of criticism over the years for a lack of diversity when it comes to nominations, and this year is no different. On a recent episode of the Kermode & Mayo's Take podcast, Till actress Danielle Deadwyler chalked her Oscars snub up to "misogynoir." Deadwyler plays Emmett Till's mother Mamie Till-Mobley in the film, and her performance received rave reviews.

"We're talking about people who perhaps chose not to see the film, we're talking about misogynoir- like it comes in all kinds of ways, whether it's direct or indirect," Deadwyler said. "It impacts who we are."

This comes after the movie's director, Chinonye Chukwu, shared a post to Instagram following the nominations announcement in January. "We live in a world and work in industries that are so aggressively committed to upholding whiteness and perpetuating unabashed misogyny towards Black women," the caption read.

Shortly after Ben Affleck's Dunkin' Donuts commercial debuted during the Super Bowl Sunday (February 12th), the company released a reel of outtakes to keep the fun going.

In one exchange, the Clerks actor tells a customer they have "no coffee and no doughnuts." The customer responds by asking, "What do you have?" In a thick Boston accent, Affleck says, "Water."

Speaking to People about the commercial, the Gone Girl star said, "I think people already sort of think that I work for Dunkin." He added, "In Boston, it was such a big deal. I think I became kind of associated with it, and this sounded like a fun opportunity to kind of play with that association, and a chance to come back here to shoot it at home in Boston."

Affleck also shared his own coffee order. "It's not all that exciting, really. It's just iced coffee, milk and two sugars, sometimes Splenda," he said. "I do sometimes have to admit to using almond milk, but if you really want to know, sometimes I forget."

Penn Badgley may play a serial killer on the hit show You, but he thinks people who are "attracted" to them need to "look at that, inside." FORMER CHILD ACTOR AUSTIN MAJORS DIES AT 27: Page Six reports that Austin Majors, the former child actor who played Theo Sipowicz on NYPD Blue, was found dead at a homeless facility on Saturday (February 11th). He was 27 years old. While his cause of death is not yet known, the outlet reports that a fentanyl overdose is suspected. Majors' family confirmed the news on Monday (February 13th) and said in a statement that he was "a loving, artistic, brilliant, and kind human being."

ACADEMY PRESIDENT SAYS RESPONSE TO OSCARS SLAP WAS ‘INADEQUATE:' Deadline reports that at the annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon Monday (February 13th), the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Janet Yang, called the Academy's response to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars "inadequate." She told nominees, "I'm sure you all remember we experienced an unprecedented event at the Oscars. What happened onstage was fully unacceptable, and the response from our organization was inadequate. ‘BARNEY' IS GETTING A REBOOT: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Barney the dinosaur is the next ‘90s icon to get a reboot. Mattel announced on Monday (February 13th) that an animated series will be released in 2024, along with a line of consumer products for those under the age of six. The company added, "Apparel and accessories for adult fans, featuring classic Barney, are also in development."

AMY POEHLER AND TINA FEY ANNOUNCE JOINT COMEDY TOUR: People reports that Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are going to be hitting the road together in their first joint comedy tour starting in Washington, D.C. this April. A press release states that they will "celebrate their thirty years of friendship with an evening of jokes, iconic stories and conversational entertainment." The pair joked, "If this tour goes right, we can finally end this friendship!"

CHECK OUT THE TRAILER FOR THE ‘CHILDREN OF THE CORN' REMAKE: Deadline reports that the first trailer for Kurt Wimmer's reimagining of Stephen King's Children of the Corn dropped on Monday (February 13th). According to the outlet, the movie follows "a 12 year old girl in Nebraska who is possessed by a spirit in a dying cornfield. She recruits the other children in her small town to go on a bloody rampage and kill all the adults and anyone else who opposes her." The film is expected to reach theaters on March 3rd.

It looks like there may be trouble in paradise for Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly. On Saturday (February 11th), the Jennifer’s Body actress shared a post to Instagram that has people speculating about whether she and the “Bloody Valentine” singer have broken up.

Along with photos of herself and video of a burning envelope, Fox shared lyrics from Beyonce’s “Pray You Catch Me,” writing in the caption: "You can taste the dishonesty/ it's all over your breath.”

When a fan commented, "He probably got with Sophie," referring to guitarist Sophie Lloyd, the Transformers actress responded, "Maybe I got with Sophie," along with a fire emoji.

Fox also deleted photos of the pair together from her page, including their engagement announcement from January of 2022. She later deactivated her account altogether.

A celebration of life ceremony was held for Stephen “tWitch” Boss in Los Angeles on Saturday (February 11th), with approximately 500 guests in attendance—including stars such as Ellen DeGeneres, Loni Love, and Wayne Brady. Joe Smith, the family’s pastor, hosted the ceremony.

Many tributes were made in honor of the late dancer. His wife, Allison Holker, and their 14-year-old daughter, Weslie Fowler, stood in front of family and friends and spoke about how Boss touched their lives. "He was the light. He chose love, grace and kindness. And he deserves to be celebrated," Allison said.

Stephen died by suicide at the age of 40 in December. Guests were invited to donate to the Move With Kindness Foundation, which "aims to carry on the legacy of Stephen 'tWitch' Boss by spreading love and mental health awareness."

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Jada Pinkett Smith opened up about her struggle with alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that causes hair loss. This comes after Chris Rock made a joke about her bald head at last year’s Oscars, and Will Smith reacted by storming the stage and slapping him across the face.

The Set It Off actress told the outlet that her diagnosis has been "a great teacher." She added, "It’s been a hard one, a scary one — because specifically as Black women, we identify so much of ourselves with our hair. And it was scary. I had to really dig deep and see the beauty of myself beyond my aesthetics.”

Following the infamous Oscars slap, Pinkett Smith said, “I learned a lot about detachment. And I learned a deeper beauty within myself, being able to let my hair go.”

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Magic Mike’s Last Dance hit theaters over the weekend, topping the charts at the domestic box office. The movie pulled in $8.2 million, while Avatar: The Way of Water took second place with $6.9 million. Paramount’s rerelease of Titanic, showing at just 2,464 theaters, claimed third place.
