A 76-year-old man is suing Gwyneth Paltrow for over $300,000 because of a 2016 skiing collission. The retired optometrist says the Hollywood star plowed into him from behind and sent him "absolutely flying," while Paltrow claims she was downhill from the man.

The incident happened a Deer Valley Resort in Utah and the ongoing trial left the plaintiff frustrated and in tears during the back-to-back testimonies, where lawyers and the sole eyewitness to the accident say the man suffered brain damage from the collision.

Paltrow's attorneys are arguing that the man suing for money to exploit the famous "actor-turned-lifestyle influencer."

With nearly 350 state bills targeting the LGBTQIA+ community across the United States, many famous entertainers are speaking out in opposition of what they are calling discriminatory political moves.

Madonna, the B-52's, and the infamous drag queen, RuPaul, have all made public statements disgracing the "unsafe" and "unfounded" attempts to dim some of society's most marginalized and fierce groups.

RuPaul proclaimed drag queens "the Marines of the queer movement," in a viral Twitter video calling on politicians to focus on more pressing issues like children's welfare or healthcare.

With ultra-conservative groups calling for the "eradication" of trans people and the banning of drag or dressing outside your gender in public spaces in Tennessee, people in the public eye with large platforms are not shying away from denouncing theses bills as attempts to dismantle fundamental human rights.

On Saturday (March 25th), Jonathan Majors was arrested following an alleged domestic dispute involving a 30-year-old woman in New York City. The Creed III actor was charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment.

The NYPD told People in a statement, "At approximately 1114 hours, police responded to a 911 call inside of an apartment located in the vicinity of West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue."

The statement continued, "The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident … The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition."

Majors' criminal defense lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, told the outlet on Sunday (March 26th) that they expect "all charges will be dropped imminently." Chaudhry added that they are gathering evidence, which "includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations."

Following this news, the U.S. Army pulled their "Be All You Can Be" ad campaign that features the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor. Public Affairs Chief for the Army Enterprise Marketing Office Laura DeFrancisco said, "The U.S. Army is aware of the arrest of Jonathan Majors and we are deeply concerned by the allegations surrounding his arrest. We recently released two ads in which Mr. Majors appears. While Mr. Majors is innocent until proven guilty, prudence dictates that we pull our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete."

Gwyneth Paltrow took the stand on Friday (March 24th) to defend herself against retired optometrist Terry Sanderson regarding a ski accident that took place at Utah's Deer Valley Resort in 2016. The Goop founder claims the accident was not her fault.

"I was skiing and two skis came between my skis, forcing my legs apart," she said. "And then there was a body pressing against me." Paltrow added that Sanderson was making a "strange grunting noise," which made her think at first that she was being sexually assaulted.

"My brain was trying to make sense of what was happening," the Iron Man actress said. "I thought, ‘Is this a practical joke? Is someone doing something perverted?'"

After Paltrow and Sanderson fell to the ground, Paltrow said she was "very upset," and yelled at him. "You skied directly into my f—ing back!" she claims she said at the time.

Jeremy Renner is back on his feet after suffering "30 plus broken bones" from a severe snowplow accident on New Year's Day. The Avengers star shared a video to social media showing himself walking on an anti-gravity treadmill.

On his Instagram stories, the Mayor of Kingstown actor said that he was able to do the "walking motion" without putting as much stress on his legs thanks to the machine.

"I now have to find OTHER things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will," he wrote on Twitter, adding the hashtags, "#minduful #intended #recovery."

Last week, Renner also shared that the snowplow involved in the accident was "finally making her way back home!"

John Wick: Chapter 4 brought in $73.5 million during its opening weekend, taking the cake for the franchise's best opening. Deadline reports that the movie is also the second-best domestic opening in 2023, behind Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania at $106.1 million. It also marks Keanu Reeves' second-best live-action debut ever, following Matrix Reloaded at $91.7 million.

The outlet also spoke with Ariana Madix about her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval and costar Raquel Leviss having dinner together following the reunion. "I don't know what they do," Madix said. ‘YOU' IS RENEWED FOR A FIFTH SEASON: Entertainment Tonight reports that Netflix renewed You for its fifth and final season on Friday (March 24th). Sheryl Lee Ralph says a "famous TV judge" sexually assaulted her years ago and "everyone at the network saw it."

The Abbot Elementary star told the Way Up With Angela Yee podcast that she and the judge were at a business event when they both appeared on the same network. She continued, "This man walked in, grabbed me by the back of my neck, turned me around and rammed his nasty ass tongue down my throat. And everybody at the network saw it."

Although she did not mention the network or the name of the judge she did make clear that it was not Judge Greg Mathis, who she called a "great man."

TAYLOR LAUTNER AND WIFE GET MATCHING TATTOOS: Taylor Lautner and his wife, Tay Lautner, have gotten matching tattoos. The couple posted a video to Instagram showing tattoo artist Kate McDuffie inking their forearms with their wedding date. Tay captioned the clip with, "Best birthday surprise ever."

Aaron Sorkin revealed to the New York Times Wednesday (March 22nd) that he had a stroke last November while writing his new Broadway musical Camelot.

He said, "Mostly it was a loud wake-up call. I thought I was one of those people who could eat whatever he wanted, smoke as much as he wanted, and it's not going to affect me. Boy, was I wrong."

Gwyneth Paltrow's children will take the sand in their mother's ski crash trial.

Page Six reports the Oscar winner's attorney, Stephen Owens, told jurors Tuesday (March 21st) that they will "hear from" both 18-year-old Apple Martin and 16-year-old Moses Martin. The Goop founder's husband, Brad Falchuk, will also testify.

All three family members were present during the 2016 Park City, Utah trip in which Paltrow allegedly crashed into retired doctor Terry Sanderson. The former optometrist claims that the incident left him with a traumatic brain injury, broken ribs, and a loss of enjoyment of life.

Paltrow is countersuing for $1 in damages, alleging that Sanderson actually mowed her down.

Lea Michele missed Wednesday's (March 22nd) performance of Funny Girl because her 2-year-old son Leo was checked into the hospital for "a scary health issue."

The Glee alum wrote on her Instagram story "I'm so sorry but unfortunately, I will be out of @FunnyGirlBwy today. We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for. I'm so sorry. Please send us some love and strength."

Authorities told CNN the 97-year-old actor was behind the wheel of a silver 2018 Lexus LS 500 when it slid into a gate. 'SMASH' HEADS TO BROADWAY: Smash is heading to Broadway for the 2024/2025 season. Producers Robert Greenblatt, Neil Meron and Steven Spielberg announced Wednesday (March 22nd) that the adaptation of the NBC musical drama is heading to the Great White Way. Although the score will be written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who wrote over two dozen songs for the television show, the stage iteration will "depart liberally" from the series.

JAMIE LEE CURTIS TO GUEST STAR ON 'THE STICKY': Jamie Lee Curtis has already landed her first post-Oscar role. The Everything Everywhere All At Once star will join the Amazon comedy series The Sticky as a guest star. According to Variety, production is already underway on the series inspired by the true story of the "Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist," in which 70 percent of the world's global maple syrup supply was stolen.

HBO MAX DEVELOPING HEIDI FLEISS DRAMA: Variety reports that HBO Max is developing a drama series based on the life of Hollywood madame, Heidi Fleiss. Fleiss will serve as a consultant on the project.

NEIL PATRICK HARRIS TO RETURN TO 'HIMYF': Neil Patrick Harris will return to Hulu's How I Met Your Father. Deadline reports he will return as his HIMYM character Barney Stinson in the upcoming Season 2 midseason finale.

According to Page Six, Nick Lachey has been ordered to attend anger management classes and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for accosting paparazzo Jody Santos in March of 2022.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office told the outlet in a statement Tuesday (March 21st), "Mr. Lachey has not been charged with misdemeanor assault and battery. Instead he is participating in LADA's Prefiling Diversion program, which was established in 2017."

The statement continued, "As part of these conditions he must participate in anger management classes and attend Alcoholic Anonymous meetings. Successful completion of the Prefiling Diversion Program will result in no criminal charges being filed."

Santos told the publication she was in her car photographing the Love is Blind host and his wife, Vanessa Lachey, after they left dinner on March 27th, 2022. "In all my years of photographing celebrities, no one has ever tried to hit me," she said, adding that she rolled up her car window "as fast" as she "could."

"He then started punching the window. I thought he was going to break his hand; that's how hard he was hitting the glass," she added. "I am surprised he didn't shatter the window."

Gwyneth Paltrow appeared in court on Tuesday (March 21st) to defend herself against retired optometrist Terry Sanderson over an alleged ski accident that took place at the Deer Valley Ski Resort near Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2016.

According to court documents, Sanderson claims Paltrow's skiing was "out of control" as she hit him in the back, "knocking him down hard, knocking him out, and causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries." He originally sued Paltrow for $3.1 million, but a judge ruled that he can only seek $300,000 in damages.

The Shakespeare in Love actress is denying Sanderson's claims. Instead, she says he was the one who crashed into her on the slopes, causing her to experience a "full ‘body blow.'" The Goop founder is seeking $1 in damages in her counterclaim suit, with the addition of legal fees. She believes Sanderson's lawsuit is "an attempt to exploit her celebrity and wealth."

The trial is expected to continue through the end of March.

Halle Bailey spoke with PopSugar in an interview published Tuesday (March 21st) about her starring role as Ariel in the Disney live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. The film is set to reach theaters on May 26th.

"It's about time that a role like this is played by a Black woman, by somebody who is just a part of this beautiful community. We deserve to have images that look like us and to see ourselves in the media on big screens and everything," she said. "So I'm just grateful that we're getting to see ourselves finally on such big projects."

Bailey also commented on how she's learned to support herself in her career. "We have to constantly encourage ourselves and remind ourselves that we are worthy, we can do it.
