The incident happened a Deer Valley Resort in Utah and the ongoing trial left the plaintiff frustrated and in tears during the back-to-back testimonies, where lawyers and the sole eyewitness to the accident say the man suffered brain damage from the collision.

Paltrow's attorneys are arguing that the man suing for money to exploit the famous "actor-turned-lifestyle influencer."

A New Mexico judge denied Santa Fe's district attorney to take on the case against Alec Baldwin. The slow-moving case will examine Baldwin's involvement in the 2021 death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, whom he shot with what appeared to be a prop gun while filming the movie "Rust."

Variety reports this is the second prosecutor to be dismissed from the involuntary manslaughter case as the pickings are slim within the county's district attorney's office.

While $360,000 in state funding has been set aside to pay an outside lawyer to take on the job and hire forensic experts, "district attorneys across New Mexico are finding it hard to recruit and retain qualified candidates."

Jonathan Majors Is Arrested On Assault Charges In New York City

On Saturday (March 25th), Jonathan Majors was arrested following an alleged domestic dispute involving a 30-year-old woman in New York City. The Creed III actor was charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment.

The NYPD told People in a statement, "At approximately 1114 hours, police responded to a 911 call inside of an apartment located in the vicinity of West 22nd Street and 8th Avenue."

The statement continued, "The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident … The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition."

Majors' criminal defense lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, told the outlet on Sunday (March 26th) that they expect "all charges will be dropped imminently." Chaudhry added that they are gathering evidence, which "includes video footage from the vehicle where this episode took place, witness testimony from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly, two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations."

Following this news, the U.S. Army pulled their "Be All You Can Be" ad campaign that features the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor. Public Affairs Chief for the Army Enterprise Marketing Office Laura DeFrancisco said, "The U.S. Army is aware of the arrest of Jonathan Majors and we are deeply concerned by the allegations surrounding his arrest. Gwyneth Paltrow Testifies In Utah Ski Crash Trial

Gwyneth Paltrow took the stand on Friday (March 24th) to defend herself against retired optometrist Terry Sanderson regarding a ski accident that took place at Utah's Deer Valley Resort in 2016. The Goop founder claims the accident was not her fault.

"I was skiing and two skis came between my skis, forcing my legs apart," she said. "And then there was a body pressing against me." Paltrow added that Sanderson was making a "strange grunting noise," which made her think at first that she was being sexually assaulted.

"My brain was trying to make sense of what was happening," the Iron Man actress said. "I thought, ‘Is this a practical joke? Is someone doing something perverted?'"

After Paltrow and Sanderson fell to the ground, Paltrow said she was "very upset," and yelled at him. "You skied directly into my f—ing back!" she claims she said at the time.

Jeremy Renner Provides Recovery Update Following Snowplow Accident

Jeremy Renner is back on his feet after suffering "30 plus broken bones" from a severe snowplow accident on New Year's Day. The Avengers star shared a video to social media showing himself walking on an anti-gravity treadmill.

On his Instagram stories, the Mayor of Kingstown actor said that he was able to do the "walking motion" without putting as much stress on his legs thanks to the machine.

"I now have to find OTHER things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will," he wrote on Twitter, adding the hashtags, "#minduful #intended #recovery."

Nick Lachey Is Ordered To Attend Anger Management Classes Following Paparazzi Outburst

According to Page Six, Nick Lachey has been ordered to attend anger management classes and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for accosting paparazzo Jody Santos in March of 2022.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office told the outlet in a statement Tuesday (March 21st), "Mr. Lachey has not been charged with misdemeanor assault and battery. Instead he is participating in LADA's Prefiling Diversion program, which was established in 2017."

The statement continued, "As part of these conditions he must participate in anger management classes and attend Alcoholic Anonymous meetings. Successful completion of the Prefiling Diversion Program will result in no criminal charges being filed."

Santos told the publication she was in her car photographing the Love is Blind host and his wife, Vanessa Lachey, after they left dinner on March 27th, 2022. "In all my years of photographing celebrities, no one has ever tried to hit me," she said, adding that she rolled up her car window "as fast" as she "could."

"He then started punching the window. I thought he was going to break his hand; that's how hard he was hitting the glass," she added. "I am surprised he didn't shatter the window."

Gwyneth Paltrow Heads To Court In Utah For 2016 Ski Accident Trial

Gwyneth Paltrow appeared in court on Tuesday (March 21st) to defend herself against retired optometrist Terry Sanderson over an alleged ski accident that took place at the Deer Valley Ski Resort near Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2016.

According to court documents, Sanderson claims Paltrow's skiing was "out of control" as she hit him in the back, "knocking him down hard, knocking him out, and causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries." He originally sued Paltrow for $3.1 million, but a judge ruled that he can only seek $300,000 in damages.

The Shakespeare in Love actress is denying Sanderson's claims. Instead, she says he was the one who crashed into her on the slopes, causing her to experience a "full ‘body blow.'" The Goop founder is seeking $1 in damages in her counterclaim suit, with the addition of legal fees. She believes Sanderson's lawsuit is "an attempt to exploit her celebrity and wealth."

The trial is expected to continue through the end of March.
