DWAYNE ‘THE ROCK' JOHNSON ANNOUNCES ‘MOANA' LIVE-ACTION REMAKE: According to The Hollywood Reporter, a live-action remake of Moana is in the works at Disney. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared the news during Disney's shareholders meeting on Monday (April 3rd). "This story is my culture, and this story is emblematic of our people's grace and warrior strength," the Black Adam actor said. "I wear this culture proudly on my skin and in my soul, and this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reunite with Maui, inspired by the mana and spirit of my late grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia, is one that runs very deep for me."

WATCH THE TRAILER FOR ‘SECRET INVASION:' Variety reports that the trailer for the Marvel Studios espionage series Secret Invasion was released on Monday (April 3rd). Samuel L. Jackson stars as Nick Fury in the show, marking the first time the character has appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home. Secret Invasion is set to premiere on Disney+ June 21st.

ANDY COHEN CALLS ‘VANDERPUMP RULES' REUNION A ‘REAL RECKONING:' On a recent episode of his Sirius XM show, Andy Cohen commented on what to expect from the Vanderpump Rules reunion amid all of the Scandoval drama. "It was a real reckoning," he said. "If you are looking to hear their story, you will. If you are looking for them to be confronted to their face about what they've done in, what I would say, an impressive manner, confrontational manner, you will get it." This comes as Tom Sandoval was spotted escorting Raquel Leviss to the Los Angeles airport on Sunday (April 2nd).

CHECK OUT THE TRAILER FOR ‘HYPNOTIC:' Deadline reports that the trailer for Hypnotic, starring Ben Affleck, dropped on Monday (April 3rd). The thriller centers on a detective played by Affleck, who is investigating multiple outlandish crimes while his daughter is missing. The film is expected to reach theaters on May 12th.

On Saturday (April 1st), Kaley Cuoco took to Instagram to announce the birth of her first child with Tom Pelphrey. The pair welcomed a daughter named Matilda Carmine Richie to the world on Thursday (March 30th).

"Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle," Cuoco captioned a carousel of photos featuring her and the Ozark star with baby Matilda in the hospital.

"Thank you to the doctors , nurses , family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days," the Flight Attendant actress added. "We are blessed beyond belief … @tommypelphrey didn't think I could fall even more in love with you , but I did."

On Friday (March 31st), stars such as Laverne Cox, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Bella Rasmey posted to social media in honor of Trans Day of Visibility.

Sharing photos of herself and Pose actress Michaela Jaé Rodriguez from Variety's Power of Women issue, Laverene Cox wrote on Instagram, "I'm so proud of my baby sister @mjrodriguez7. I'm so proud of @variety. This is always such a powerful issue of their magazine and an incredible event."

The Orange is the New Black star added, "One of the things I'm proudest of on this #transdayofvisibility is seeing that though I've been the first openly trans person to do a few things, I'm not the last. Jamie Lee Curtis shared a sweet photo with her daughter Ruby to Instagram. "Love is love. A mother's love knows no judgment. On this trans visibility day my daughter and I are visible," she wrote.

The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey posted a throwback photo to Twitter, writing, "Happy TDOV to this little dude! I didn't know the word non-binary in this picture. But I knew what it meant. Inherently. Because I always was, and always will be. Lotsa love to all of my trans, enby and gender funky friends."

On a recent episode of the Real Ones With Jon Bernthal podcast, Pete Davidson commented on all the attention he's received when it comes to his dating life. The Saturday Night Live alum has been in high-profile romances with stars like Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, and Kate Beckinsale.

"I'm in my 20s and I've dated people and for some reason, that's very crazy and interesting to people," he said. "I don't think it's interesting."

Davidson also shared some numbers. "In 10 years, I've dated 12 people," he told Bernthal. "I don't think that's that crazy, but to some people, that's very interesting. That became all anyone would talk about."

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves had a successful debut at the domestic box office over the weekend, bringing in $38.5 million. Deadline reports that the film outperformed its projections, but whether it will become a franchise depends on the rest of the film's run. John Wick Chapter 4 came in second place with $28.2 million, crossing the $100 million mark domestically with a running total of $122.8 million.

HOWELL WAYANS DIES AT 86: Marlon Wayans announced the death of his father, Howell Wayans, on Instagram Saturday (April 1st). According to Page Six, Howell was 86 years old. Marlon paid tribute to his father by sharing a photo of the pair together and writing, "Thank you Pop for being an example of a Man to all your boys. I pray all young black boys can grow up to be a Man like you. Baby boy loves you." He added, "Rest well. Kiss Ma for me. Tell her her babies miss her. I got two angels. REESE WITHERSPOON OFFICIALLY FILES FOR DIVORCE FROM JIM TOTH: People reports that Reese Witherspoon filed for divorce from Jim Toth on Saturday (April 1st) at the Circuit Court of Davidson County, Tennessee. She cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason. Documents state that Witherspoon and Toth had a prenuptial agreement in place, and that she requested joint custody of their 10-year-old son, Tennessee James. This comes after the Legally Blonde actress was spotted in public, sans wedding ring, for the first time since they announced their plans to divorce.

LUKAS GAGE WANTS TO PLAY LAWYER WHO GRILLED GWYNETH PALTROW IN SKI CRASH TRIAL: The White Lotus star Lukas Gage has a vision when it comes to reenacting Gwyneth Paltrow's recent trial. Speaking with People on Friday (March 31st), he shared how much he wants to play Kristin VanOrman, the opposing attorney who went viral for questioning Paltrow. "Give me the opportunity to play this role. This is what I'm talking about, when people confuse actors for their real-life character," he said. "Of course, I'm not equipped to be a lawyer and be in this case, but God, I could bring that role to life. I would love to. Me and that blue suit." The Road House actor added, "Can you see it? However, Josh Lucas, Dawn Olivieri, Wendy Moniz, and Mo Brings Plenty were the only ones present. This comes after it was reported that the Yellowstone spinoff starring Matthew McConaughey is moving forward, and as Costner is reportedly considering leaving the series. President of development & production for Paramount Network Keith Cox said during the panel, "What I can say is our star, the face of our show and the executive producer, are very confident he's going to continue with our show."

TARAJI P. HENSON TO GUEST STAR ON ‘ABBOTT ELEMENTARY:' Abbott Elementary fans will be excited to learn that Taraji P. Henson will be appearing on the April 12th show. According to Today, Henson told fans during PaleyFest Saturday (April 1st) that she'll be playing Janine's mother. "You already met her sister so why not make it a family affair," the Empire star said at the event. "Now I can't share too many details with you so you'll have to tune in to ABC, April 12. But I can guarantee you that it is going to be a riot."

CHRIS PRATT ADDRESSES ‘SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE' CASTING CRITICISM: In a recent interview with Extra, Chris Pratt addressed the criticism he's faced for being cast as Mario in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie. The Parks and Recreation star said that he knows there's a "passionate fanbase" when it comes to the game. "I understand, I'm part of it," he said. "This is the soundtrack to your youth. You don't want someone to come along and cynically kind of destroy it as a cash-grab with the movie. I fully understand that. You do not want that to happen. CAROLE BASKIN TO CLOSE BIG CAT RESCUE SANCTUARY: According to Deadline, Tiger King star Carole Baskin is closing the Big Cat Rescue Sanctuary that was featured in the hit docuseries. Her husband, Howard Baskin, wrote in a memo: "Big Cat Rescue has entered into an agreement with Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, an accredited sanctuary in Arkansas, to move most of Big Cat Rescue's cats to Turpentine Creek where we will continue to fund their care for the rest of their lives." He added that once all the cats have been moved, "we will sell the sanctuary property and use the proceeds to fund these species-saving projects in the wild."

The most sought-after recognition of the CMT Music Awards, Video of the Year, went to Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn Brown for their performance of "Thank God." Emotional and admittingly nervous, she thanked her husband and gave him a kiss. The category started out with 16 nominees and fan voting was narrowed down to three, just hours before the winner was announced. Kane also served as co-host alongside Kelsea Ballerini.

Jelly Roll was the night's big winner as he seemed to be, not only a fan favorite, but well respected among his peers. He took home Best Male Video, Digital-First Performance, and Breakthrough Male Video for "Son of a Sinner." Joined by a choir of 16 people, his performance of "Need A Favor (I Only Talk To God)" had most of the audience standing.

Lainey Wilson, who started the evening with four nominations, won Female Video for "Heart Like A Truck" and shared Best Collaboration with HARDY for "Wait in The Truck". Megan Moroney won Female Breakthrough Video for "Tennessee Orange."

Along with performances by some of country music's biggest stars, the night consisted of artists from several genres of music, including a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd, a performance my Alanis Morissette, and a presentation by Megan Thee Stallion to Shania Twain for her Equal Play Award.

After being held in Music City for decades, this year's show had a new home in Austin, Texas.

Gwyneth Paltrow was found not liable after eight days of testimony in her highly contentious ski collision trial.

A Park City, Utah jury also awarded the actress a symbolic $1 victory in her countersuit against Dr. Terry Sanderson. Sanderson claimed that the Oscar winner had slammed into him at Deer Valley Resort in 2016, causing ongoing health issues.

In response to the verdict, Paltrow said in a statement posted to her Instagram Stories, "I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity," Paltrow said in a statement. "I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case."

Dancing With the Stars' Carrie Ann Inaba underwent an emergency appendectomy last week.

The reality judge revealed on Instagram Thursday (March 30th) that she put off seeking help because she didn't want to be with her pets.

Inaba wrote, "I should have come straight to the hospital right when the pain in my abdomen started, after the sudden and violent vomiting that knocked me off my feet. I should have gone when I couldn't stand without excruciating pain, but I honestly didn't want to leave my babies, and I'm so accustomed to pain—thought I should let it play out."

She ended up spending four nights in the hospital after suffering "a few small complications.

Mark Wahlberg recently told Fox News Digital that moving from Hollywood to Las Vegas has given his kids "a chance to thrive."

The actor, who moved his family to Nevada last fall, said Thursday (March 30th), "It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think Las Vegas, they think the Strip. But just about 15, 20 minutes away, there's a whole lot of other amazing areas that are all about family and community."

WOMAN WHO CLAIMS JONATHAN MAJORS ASSAULTED HER ALLEGEDLY TOOK THE BLAME IN TEXT MESSAGES: Text messages allegedly sent by the woman who claims Jonathan Majors assaulted her appear to show that she took the blame for the fight. According to the messages released by an attorney for Majors, the woman wrote, "I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone." She added, "I reiterated how this was not an attack." A representative for the Manhattan DA told Variety, "We have an active and ongoing investigation but cannot comment beyond that."

JENNA JOHNSON REVEALS SHE HAD A MISCARRIAGE: Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy revealed on Good Morning America Thursday (March 30th) that Johnson suffered a miscarriage in 2021. She recalled, "We were in Dallas for a show. And while we were practicing, we did something and I just turned to him and I was like, 'I think I'm bleeding.' And immediately, just my heart dropped. I could see it in his face just went white. I sprinted to our hotel room, and I lost the baby in our hotel room." The couple announced their pregnancy in July 2022 and Johnson gave birth to Rome six months later.

'SCOTT PILGRIM' CAST REUNITES FOR ANIME SERIES AT NETFLIX: Netflix has announced a Scott Pilgrim anime series that will reunite the original film's cast. Variety reports that Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Satya Bhabha, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brie Larson, Alison Pill, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Simmons, Mark Webber, Mae Whitman and Ellen Wong will all reprise their Scott Pilgrim vs The World roles.

MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ DOESN'T WANT HER 'AVATAR' CHARACTER TO RETURN: Michelle Rodriguez does not want to appear in an more Avatar sequels. The Fast & Furious actress told Vanity Fair that she told director James Cameron he couldn't bring her Avatar character back from the dead because it's happened three times in her career and a fourth time would be "overkill."

TOM HIDDLESTON TO NARRATE 'BIG BEASTS:' Tom Hiddleston will narrate the Apple TV+ wildlife series Big Beasts. According to Deadline, the series, which has been in the works for two years, will feature species filmed across 17 countries including the gray whale, the elephant seal, the giant otter, the gorilla, the hippopotamus, the brown bear, the ostrich, the orangutan, the tiger and the polar bear.

NBC CANCELS 'DANCING WITH MYSELF:' NBC is dropping Dancing with Myself. The dance competition series, which starred Nick Jonas, Liza Koshy and Shakira will not return for a second season.

Jeremy Renner says he'd endure his near-fatal snowplow accident again if it meant saving his family.

In a teaser for his forthcoming interview with Diane Sawyer, the Hawkeye star tells Sawyer, "I'd do it again because it was going right at my nephew."

The ABC News special, scheduled to air on April 6th, also promises to share the 911 call made from the scene of the accident.

The actor said, "I've lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience, but I've been refueled and refilled with love and titanium."

Melissa Joan Hart recounted her experience trying to help students as they fled from a school shooter at Covenant School in Nashville Monday (March 27th).

On the latest episode of her What Women Binge podcast, the Melissa and Joey star said she was driving with her husband when she saw a teacher walk into the street and "all these tiny children going by."

She added, "The look on her face just changed my life."

The actress said that she "began helping the children across the road, including one who asked her, "What's going on?"

As emergency responders came to take the kids to safety, Hart said she stayed and prayed along with a woman who said her child was still inside the school.

Hart teared up as she explained, "It was just the worst thing I've ever seen and I'm not even a first responder. I didn't even have to see what they have to see, what those teachers saw, what those children saw. So it was just a really hard day and it's gonna get worse for some around the grieving process."

Mike Meyers "knows nothing" about a Canadian radio DJ's claims that the Saturday Night Live alum had him fired from the set of The Love Guru for looking at him in the eyes.

DJ Jay Brody wrote on Twitter that he was working security on the film set at the time and added, "When we were hired they basically told us he would have us fired regardless in under a week and not to worry because it wouldn't impact our ability to work on other projects around town."

REBEL WILSON REVEALS SHE WAS 'DUMPED' BY A WOMAN 'IN THE PUBLIC EYE:' Ramona Agruma isn't the first woman Rebel Wilson had dated. The Pitch Perfect star told the U Up? podcast Wednesday (March 28th) that she was "dumped" by a woman "in the public eye" before meeting her current fiancée. Although she says the relationship "didn't end up going anywhere really," she credited the experience with "opening her heart up for a same-sex relationship."
