Public Service Workers To Receive Billions In Student Loan Forgiveness

The Department of Education has expanded its student loan forgiveness program to eligible public service workers. 22,000 borrowers will immediately receive loan forgiveness totaling $1.74 billion while another 27,000 who meet service requirements will receive $2.82 billion in forgiveness.
